We recognize that many technical professionals have an interest in electronics but have no formal training. The Electronics Club is a fun way to pick up some basics and put them to practical use.
When do we meet: The Club meets every Saturday from 9am until noon at GHII main office conference room.
Methodology: We have a short lecture on some theoretical concept from electronics followed by some hands-on activities working with electronics components and test instruments. Club members who are working on personal electronics projects sometimes give a brief update on what they have done.
The Club currently has over 150 members and is growing by the week. Typically 15-25 people attend each week and the participation is enthusiastic. We know there are some "diamonds in the rough" out there and we hope to nurture their interest beyond just a hobby.
