Informatics

Over the past 15 years international aid organizations have made large investments in health information technology (HIT) in many low- and middle-income countries.  Sadly these investments have largely focused on improving the quality and timeliness of data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, in many cases relying on the severely limited pool of health workers to capture data.  This has for the most part taken valuable time away from actual healthcare delivery.

MEDU

The main objective of Malawi EMR Data Use (MEDU) is to strengthen data use at national, district and facility levels for improved decision making.

Neotree

Neotree addresses these problems through its specially designed system, which uses cutting edge digital technology and is underpinned by extensive medical research. The Neotree system has been embedded into daily clinical care in neonatal wards in low resource settings.

OpenO2

An Initiative with the vision to see a significant proportion of broken concentrators restored to working condition and maintainable in a sustainable way to continue to provide life-saving oxygen. with the to provide public and private organizations in low-income countries with access to resources including repair manuals, training materials and replacement parts for obsolete models of concentrators, some of which have been developed under an open source design framework and can be made using locally available materials.

Oxygen Alliance

The Oxygen Alliance was founded on a bold vision to make a real difference in the healthcare ecosystem. In 2021, Sanrai International and Global Health Informatics Institute (GHII) came together to tackle one of the most pressing challenges in healthcare: non-functional equipment in hospitals.
