Our Work
The MEDU project’s overall objective is to strengthen data use at national, district and facility levels for improved decision making. The project continued to pursue the three priority data use objectives, and made some strides as follows:
Improving data quality of the Central Data Repository (CDR)
Development and refinement of the Data Quality Assessment (DQA) Engine continued in the year focusing on adjustment to changes in the underlying CDR infrastructure.
Use CDR for routine reporting
PEPFAR reports for syncing sites were pulled from the CDR-OHDL.
Improving accessibility and use of data
The Data Access Center served a total of 17 data requests from various stakeholders.
The first working version of the Integrated Data Access Request Platform (iDARP) was finalized, tested, deployed into production, and a user guide (manual book) developed.Â
Data request approving authorities were trained on how to navigate and operate the platform.
